PRIVATE EQUITY
TRG invests alongside management in private equity transactions. We make both majority and minority investments and are willing to syndicate with other like-minded investors. We invest in profitable companies with solid growth potential that are led by exceptional management. We primarily purchase equity in our private company investments, but will consider subordinated debt positions in certain situations as well. Specific types of investments we make include:
TRG is particularly interested in search fund investments. We enjoy the partnership with search funders as they seek an operating company that they are willing to bet their career on. The search fund approach creates solid alignment between management and investors and sets the stage for a successful investment partnership. |
